Introduction to Business Graduate Programs

The Faculty of Business Administration at Lakehead University offers two 12 month full-time Masters degrees (MBA & MSc.Mgt.) at our Thunder Bay campus and one 36 month part-time Masters degree (MBA) at both our Orillia and Thunder Bay campuses.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for individuals with a business and non-business background.  The MBA program provides you with analytical decision-making and communication skills and expands your knowledge of effective management practice while instilling a professional and responsible attitude toward business.

The Master of Science in Management (MSc.Mgt.) program is designed for individuals with an educational background in business.  This program emphasizes scientific and research based approaches dealing with management challenges facing organizations.  The MSc.Mgt. program provides theoretical foundation in the field of management and develops your capability for the pursuit of research and management practice.
